Room 13 International.
Design for Print
We are fortunate that we get to work on some unique projects with interesting and inspiring clients. For example; an international creative arts charity working with children and young adults, encouraging creative and entrepreneurial thinking to enhance their artistic endeavours, their future careers, their ongoing personal development and how, in general, they approach life.
Room 13 International started from very humble beginnings in one primary school classroom in 1994, but has grown to become an international charity with over 50 studios worldwide. lamontdesign were privileged to be asked to work with Room 13 developing their digital presence. A complex, international creative arts organisation they had a lot they wanted to communicate. Their website had to speak to children and young adults, and how they would benefit from being involved. It had to engage current and potential executives and stakeholders as well as drawing in new interest helping the ongoing growth of the organisation. Their purpose and ethos are excellent and gets ever more exciting as their scope expands ever wider.
A number of technical challenges presented themselves when designing and building the website for Room 13 – not least was finding an efficient way in which to communicate details on their many studios, where they are, and information about each one in a way that offered the scale of the organisation, without losing it’s unique personal, friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
